In this series, the crow is part of the landscape, usually the focal point, but sometimes used as a symbol. I don't post my images on Facebook. This last work, above, is the latest work in graphite with a crow, to be titled soon. You can see that I've used the same crow twice in two of the works. They are everywhere until I get my camera to get new shots!

Thank you Mona for the suggestion! There are so many beautiful bird works in that group! I'm glad your link works. I'm still tying to fix my title links. Sometimes you think you have things working and then when you publish, they aren't! It is interesting for me to see the crows all in the same place.

Gosh Barbara! Somehow I missed this most fabulous post yesterday! I love this whole series, but those pieces with the watch/clock are just so interesting and intriguing. Almost POE-ish for some reason (though not thinking of the Raven, I am sure that plays into it...but some story of the ill use or loss of time...)! Beautiful acrylics too; your trees lose nothing from one medium to the next!

I'm working on a new one now, a graphite small work, not miniature, that I'm trying to have finished for a deadline. Same sort of tree but without a crow, similar mood. I'm taking photographs of it in progress that I want to post soon.
Seeing all your wonderful crow pieces in a series like that really adds to the impact Barbara - It makes me wish all the more that I could see them in person and really study them up close. Your work is truly inspirational!!!
