Parklane Gallery's 19th Annual Juried International Miniature Art Show now has a preview of the show online at their website, HERE. I am happy to say that all four of my submissions have been juried in the show. Parklane Gallery is located at 130 Park Lane in beautiful downtown Kirkland, WA. The show runs from May 3rd through June 5th. The Artists' Reception and Awards Presentation is this Saturday, May 7 at 5:00 PM. The show will also be part of the Kirkland ArtWalk on Friday, May 13 from 6 until 9. There are over 300 works from some of the top Fine Art Miniaturists from all across the country and abroad. Jim Smith the juror will have a hard time giving the awards! Magnifying glasses are provided and closer looks are encouraged!

This is a local show for me and I will be attending the reception. My husband Wayne will take photos of the show and reception for me which I will be including in my next blog and posting on several miniature art forums. Check back, I'll try to get them up as soon as I can. In the meantime, enjoy all the beautiful miniatures online. Once again, I am honored to be a part of this show. If you have never seen a miniature show in person, this is a perfect opportunity! I hope to see you there.

Thanks so much Dors, Sherry and Akiko. Yes, Jim will certainly have a tough time with all the excellent entries in the show. I'm just happpy to be included. Akiko, I like adding a bit of fantasy in my work. I will have to wait and see how it is received.
